In That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, author Fuse created one of the most popular manga and anime series in recent history. The story follows an ordinary 37-year-old man who dies and is reincarnated into a slime. But there are some favorite characters from the original series that got reincarnated too!

Many are suggested to use the manga’s published date as Rimuru’s birthday.

Satoru Mikami / Rimuru Tempest

Satoru Mikami is a 37 year old, common office worker from Tokyo. He dies, but is brought back to life as a slime known as Rimuru Tempest. Mikami is reincarnated as a slime and he takes on the name Rimuru Tempest.

In his life as a slime, he has a kind heart and quirky personality. Even though he is very laid back, he works very hard when there is a job to do.

Rimuru has obtained one of the 12 Divine Plates from Aqua Dragon God that gives him life; this allows him to use his Slime Body Enhancement which significantly increases his strength. He can also make more slimes using Memory Corruption ability with any organism or mana.

Shizue

Shizue Izawa, “The Conqueror Of Flames,” was the companion of the previous Hero and a Japanese Summoned Otherworlder. She has the most beautiful blue eyes, black hair and a terrifying burn mark.

When she was four during the Bombing of Tokyo during World War II, she was summoned to this world. Then The Flame Giant Ifrit possess Shizue’s body.

Benimaru

Benimaru evolves from an Ogre. He possesses the ability to unleash hellfire from his mouth and tail, which he can use for both offense and defense.

He loves eating sukiyaki since it reminds him of when he was alive in Japan’s Edo period (1603-1867). It also tastes good because Benimaru eats meat by cooking them with fire before consuming them.

In order to maintain his power, Benimaru must eat at least one large animal per day or else he will slowly revert back into human form where there would be low chances of transforming again if this were continued. Since becoming Rimuru’s subordinate, Benimaru enjoys showing off how strong he is.

Milim Nava

Milim is a very strong demon king, known as the “Destroyer.” She might look like she is a petite girl that you want to protect, but she can do things that are tough for other people.

After becoming friends with Rimuru, she decides to live in Tempest.

Shuna

She is very beautiful with her long pink hair reaching down to her waist. She has been kidnapped many times by slimes or humans because of how attractive she is. Shuna is devoted to Rimuru. She is also a great cook, and not only does she make amazing meals for Rimuru, but also for all the other people living in town.
