Naofumi Iwatani’s Birthday

Naofumi's birthday: October 29

Naofumi Iwatani was summoned to this magical world to be a shield hero. What he was not told is that the world’s heroes are merely people who have been granted power and authority to oppress others in order to turn more profit for their masters.

He becomes an adventurer out of necessity, but when Raphtalia, his first companion on this journey, makes him realize how truly broken the system has become, Naofumi starts fighting against them with all his might-but it will make enemies of those who have everything they could ever want from being slave drivers! Though life as an adventurer would normally involve putting one’s own safety ahead of others’, if you don’t protect anyone else then there won’t be any other adventurers left!

Raphtalia’s Birthday

Raphtalia’s birthday is rumored to be June 29th. There is no confirmation so far.

Raphtalia's birthday: June 29

Raphtalia is the main heroine of the series, original bough as a slave. Naofumi saves her from imminent death and she becomes his first companion.

Raphtalia is simple, but also a bit of an airhead; it’s said that sometimes she forgets who Naofumi is because the only life she has ever lived was as a slave. Unlike other slaves, Raphtalia never says anything bad about Naofumi for being so much more powerful than most people and doesn’t complain when he forces himself on her like he does with all females either.

There’s no doubt among readers that there will be romantic feelings between Raphtalia  and Naofumi.
