  1. TC30. Time and date will not stay to set time. Date jumps forward by months and time gains hours over a 24 hour period.

  2. Have a new TC50 trail camera. The remote does not show any lights when pressed and does not communicate with the camera. Does it need a battery?
The recommended app does not link to WiFi
No pictures have been recorded after 24 hours.
Have I set it up incorrectly?

  3. Can’t get the battery tray to fully open. Stops half way and can’t insert even one battery. DL501 model

    1. Mine was similar but with a bit of wiggling and a moderate tug, it slid out.
My issue is with the ‘wristwatch’ – it just doesn’t do anything and I can’t get to any batteries!

  4. Purchased a TC50. Able to set the settings without any problem.
getting the disc formated is a problem and getting the camera set up to take pictures is another issue as well as working with my iphone 6s. It seems to be be beyond this old guys pay-grade. Seems not clear how to get the picture taking process going. Any ideas before i return the camers

  5. I gave a USO GOOD TC30 TRAIL CAMERA , initially once set up it works fine. Then after a period of 24 hours it stops taking videos and pictures. Batteries and still very good.
Any ideas what’s going wrong ? The SD is not full and works fine.

    1. Try playing around with settings for image and video capture to see if you accidently enabled a setting which triggers the issue.

If it still doesn’t work, resetting can be a solution.
-press and hold “Down” arrow key
-move power switch to “SET” position

The TC20 is rated at 6V, but what is the maximum voltage that can safely be applied. I have tried 4 x NiMH which is only nominally 4.8V and it complains that the batteries are low charge. If I go to 5 x NiMH that would be nominally 6V, but more like 7V when freshly charged. Plus the physical size is inconvenient.
I would like to use two cells of li-ion, but would this be safe at 8.4V max?

    1. This issue is about power supply which I don’t know much about. Higher voltage is likely to damage the device with lower voltage tolerance unless it has internal regulator. You can search for these issue on forums about power supply like Quora.

  7. i have got a USOGOOD tc30 trail camera , i cant seem to get it set up correctly to take photo/videos during the night, can you help

    1. I recommend these 2 videos youtu.be/G9cirs6f1t8 and youtube.com/watch?v=FQoSmtBJxT8. They are not TC30 but the setup will be the same.

  8. I’m having trouble getting the memory card to work. When I go to setup it tells me ‘memory card error’, then when I go to format it asks me if I want to delete data. I say yes and it tells me ‘memory card missing’ when there is a card already in the camera. Am I missing something?

    1. That means there is something wrong with the card.

Try take the card out and plug in again. If it doesn’t work, test if your card works with other devices or see if it is corrupted. Formatting your SD card is another solution.
