Overview
The GPD WIN Max is the 8-inch handheld gaming laptop that launched on Indiegogo in August 2020 and was refreshed as the WIN Max 2021 with faster Intel Core i7-1195G7 and AMD Ryzen 7 4800U options. It pairs a 1280x800 (expandable to 2560x1600) multi-touch screen with 16GB LPDDR4x-4266 RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and a 57Wh battery in a 790g clamshell body. The Intel version adds dual USB4 ports for external-GPU docking, while both variants include a full keyboard, analog joysticks, and active cooling, making it one of the most powerful fully-featured UMPCs of its generation.
