Common Mistakes When Buying Mesh Wi-Fi
- Buying dual-band mesh for a large home: Wireless backhaul on dual-band cuts client bandwidth in half. Choose tri-band or use Ethernet for backhaul.
- Too few nodes for the area: One mesh node is no different from a regular router. Each node covers ~100-150m² theoretically. Measure your actual space first.
