3. AMD GPUs Get a 50% Speed Boost with ComfyUI-FeatherOps

If you're running ComfyUI on an AMD RDNA3 GPU, your rendering just got a whole lot faster. A community project called ComfyUI-FeatherOps injects fast fp8 matrix multiplication onto RDNA3 hardware — even though those GPUs lack native fp8 support. The result? Up to a 50% diffusion speed boost in ComfyUI workflows.

The technique uses fp16-fp8 mixed precision matmul that cleverly works around RDNA3's architecture limitations. It's a classic example of the open-source community outperforming what the vendor provides out of the box. Install it as a custom node and watch your iteration times drop.

5. ByteDance and Google Double Down on ComfyUI Partner Nodes

The partner node ecosystem is heating up. ByteDance brought Seedream 5 Pro — their latest image generation model — plus Seed Audio 1.0, which handles speech, music, sound effects, and multi-speaker dialogue all through ComfyUI nodes. That means you can now build audio-for-video pipelines entirely inside ComfyUI without leaving the graph.

Google dropped Gemini Video Omni as a partner node, bringing native video generation into the ComfyUI workflow.
