Is Humble Bundle Monthly Good for Gamers?

It used to be simple for a gamer to purchase new video games. One just needs to go to a shop and then buy a physical CD/DVD. However, ways to buy video games have vastly increased this decade. The advantage is that gamers have more options to purchase games. Humble Bundle is one of the most popular options for games.

Humble Bundle is an online store that sells games and software but let its customer decide how much they can pay to developers and charities. All bundles start from $1. Most of them are old games so don’t expect to pay a cheap price for a new game.

Humble Bundle users want to buy an old game they haven’t tried yet and donate to charities.

What is Humble Monthly?

Beside available bundles on homepage, Humble Bundle sells Humble Monthly separately. It is a subscription-based service which offers a curated selection of PC games each month. The cost of this service is $12 monthly.

If you are someone who loves to try new games, Humble Monthly can be a good option for you. With the subscription, you get access to a selection of new games each month, which can be a great way to discover new titles that you may not have otherwise come across. Additionally, the fact that a portion of the subscription fee goes to charity is a nice bonus.

However, it’s worth noting that Humble Monthly may not be the best option for everyone. If you only play a few specific types of games or have a large backlog of games that you haven’t played yet, you may not get as much value out of the subscription. Additionally, the fact that Humble Monthly only supports games on the Steam platform may be a drawback for some users.

Is Humble Monthly Worth it?

Whether or not Humble Monthly is worth it for you will depend on your specific gaming preferences and habits. If you love trying out new games and don’t mind the Steam-only limitation, it could be a great option. However, if you prefer to stick to a more curated selection of games or prefer to purchase games through a different platform, it may not be the best fit for you.

This package has been good so far. With $12, you get a game from big studio and 5 indie games. If you love a game of a month, you can purchase for that month only. That’s what I did to buy XCOM 2 and Mad Max.

To me, it is worth the price. You get $12 for 6 games which are already good and a big game among those is a plus. And you get to donate 5% of that subscription fee to charity. The only disadvantage is that it only supports games on Steam platform.
